As a physician, over the last 25 years I have had the privilege of working with and treating at-risk individuals, understanding and responding to their diverse needs, establishing rapport and trust, and assessing the effects of policies and programs in the USA. I earned a reputation for excellence and in 2018, I received the distinction of becoming a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. With my passion, relentless energy, my native Spanish tongue, ability to leverage technology, unique medical skills, in-depth knowledge involving monitoring and evaluation frameworks, data collection and analyses, practical experience working with vulnerable populations, and extensive tools and proficiencies in public health, I am joining MedWater to act on current global needs and challenges faced by the Kichua people in the Napo Province, Ecuador.
